My favorite thing to do is spend time with my kids and it’s a bonus when we get to travel together. They’re all in college now and when we take trips it’s almost like hanging out with my best friends...except these best friends don’t have any money, so I have to foot the bill for everything. :)

It took half my life to discover that I have a creative side. I’m sure it was always there, but photography gave it a voice.
My biggest hobby is trying to find the middle of nowhere and camp in it. Deserts, mountains and rivers feed my soul and when I’m not shooting pictures of people, I’m probably snapping landscapes and making campfires.
I’ve sang Achy Breaky Heart in a packed Philippine karaoke bar, completed several 36-hour adventure races and taught more than a few bartenders how to make a proper Negroni.
The legacy I hope to leave for my kids are stories: Cherished recollections of adventures and wild pursuits mixed with love and laughter.

I’m always in for an early morning hike to catch a sunrise over an epic landscape. But, I absolutely love capturing genuine moments of emotion and connection. And, if I get a chance to combine the two…well, it’s like Christmas morning for me.
